Quotient Clinical has significantly expanded its technical and analytical capabilities with a capital investment of £1.3M to establish a new state of the art laboratory facility at its Ruddington site. The new laboratory has been completed and is operational.
You will be responsible for developing, optimising and qualifying analytical methods to support testing of a wide range of dosage forms for clinical dosing. The role will include writing and reviewing method qualification protocols and reports and providing troubleshooting support to the analytical development team. The role will also include line management of a small team of analysts and ensuring that study timelines are met. Checking of analytical write ups will be required and the role will also require hands on activities in the laboratory.
In this role you will also have direct interactions with colleagues and peers in client organisations to ensure that projects are completed to agreed timelines and standards. Therefore effective oral and written communication skills, presentation skills and attention to detail are paramount.
The ideal candidate will be Degree level qualified in Chemistry or relevant discipline and will have a minimum of five years’ work experience in a Pharmaceutical Analysis role. You will also have a good knowledge of HPLC and dissolution methodologies and development. Inhaled testing experience, although not required would also be an advantage.
You should be reliable, enthusiastic and self-motivated as well as having excellent communication skills both written and verbally. Strong IT skills and experience of completing documentation with a high degree of accuracy is also a must.
